Date Day: Muir Woods/Sausalito

Over Labor Day weekend, Nick had a lot of studying to do. So, the fact that our Air B n B canceled on us a few weeks before was actually a blessing in disguise because then we turned a weekend trip into a day trip. And we didn't really need more than one day :D

We had our reservation for Muir Woods early on Saturday morning. We had heard great things about the grove of Redwoods, and were excited to check it out. We enjoyed our time there. Muir Woods is definitely beautiful, and had that same redwoods vibe that we had been seeing many times over the past few months.

After we walked around Muir Woods, we ate our picnic lunch and then headed over to Muir Beach. The beach was crazy crowded, but my husband is an excellent parallel parker and squeezed into a tight spot on the street. We enjoyed our time laying in the sun before we needed to drive over to Sausalito.

We loved little Sausalito! What a cute place! We walked around the town, through the marina, and enjoyed the most delicious waterfront seafood dinner. Afterwards, we enjoyed our ice cream and hen headed back down south across the Golden Gate. Sausalito, we will be back!
