Our Faith

As mentioned on my About/Contact Us page, Nick and I are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or Mormons. Having grown up in Ohio where there are not a lot of members of the Church and having served an 18 month, full-time mission in Western Washington, I understand that a lot of people have questions or misconceptions about what Mormons believe. Nick, who had never heard of the LDS church until moving to Arizona, especially understands that you may have questions about what Mormons believe! No worries!

Whenever I discuss religious beliefs on my blog, it is not to bring offense or contention, but to share the faith that drives our lives. Above all, I want to share the knowledge that Mormons believe in Jesus Christ. His grace and the gift of his Atonement make my life possible. We strive each and every day to act as He would and become more like He was. We are certainly not perfect, but through His grace and mercy, we can become a little better each and every day.
