2022 Overview:
Nick: Nick is in his 4th and final year of medical school! He completed some tough clerkships such as Internal & Family Medicine and studied and took both his STEP 1 and STEP 2 board exams like a champ. Many of his research projects were published, including a big paper in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He applied for Dermatology Residency and we wait to hear back where he will "match" in March 2023. He served in the Menlo Park nursery from January-March. In his very little free time, Nick enjoys playing video games, watching the Miami Dolphins, fantasy football, and playing board games and hiking with Kaylyn.
Kaylyn: Kaylyn still works as the ELD Specialist at Alpha: Cornerstone Academy in San Jose and loves her job/students. She also worked at Palo Alto Adult School from August-December teaching ESL to adults. She served as Nursery Coordinator from January-March and then as the Relief Society Ministering Secretary from March-October. In her free time, Kaylyn enjoys playing video games, like Animal Crossing New Horizons and Disney Dreamlight Valley, cleaning/organizing, taking walks/running, reading, and playing board games/hiking with Nick.
Together, Nick and Kaylyn started down the road of infertility and shared the stresses of medical school and applying to Dermatology residency. They both turned 29 and celebrated their 5 year wedding anniversary. Throughout the year, there was lots of fun travel, including an Alaskan cruise (thank you, Jorge!) There have been many blessings, including safety, security, overall good health, a warm/cozy apartment and fun times as a couple, with friends, and family.

- 10 day cruise on the Ruby Princess to Alaska for our 5 year wedding anniversary
- Girls trip to St. Augustine that didn't quite go to plan...but is still a blast!
