Destination: Tucson, Arizona

Nick was invited to interview at the University of Arizona: Tucson Medical School. Since Tucson is only 2 hours south of Phoenix (and the interview was on a Saturday), we were able to drive down together and enjoy the experience together!

Right after I got home from work on Friday, we headed down. On the drive down, I started doing something with Nick that I had been doing with my students. On Youtube, there are many videos where you have to guess the the theme song (of the cartoon, the movie, the video game etc.) Nick and I had a fun time reliving our childhood and going through the 90's cartoons :D

When we arrived, we immediately went to get Sonoran style hot dogs! The best!

The next morning, we woke up bright and early to take Nick to his interview. After going back to our Air B n B and getting some R and R, I did the thing I do best: I went shopping. I walked around the grocery store, the Dollar Tree, and Target. After I had just finished wandering around Target, Nick was done with his interview. 

Afterwards, we went to the Pima Air and Space Museum, which we honestly thought was better than the National Air and Space Museum :D We especially enjoyed looking at all of the planes from WWII, including German, English, and French planes. There were also North Korean planes from the Korean War and Russian planes as well! While Nick and I are no air and space experts, we had a great time spending together and learning a little more about our history! 

After visiting the museum, we headed home! Thanks Tucson for another great weekend!
