Out on the Open Road

As many of you know, I am now in Arizona completing Teach for America Institute and preparing to begin teaching in the Fall. Well, in order to get here, I hit the open road!

After graduating from BYU, going to Sauder Village, and spending time in Michigan with my father, it was time to head back out West. For an entire week, I was in a car, putting about 3,500 miles on my Toyota Corolla named Molly. Here was our travel itinerary:

Sunday--Toledo, Ohio -> St. Louis, Missouri
Monday--St. Louis, Missouri-> Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Tuesday--Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-> Albuquerque, New Mexico
Wednesday--Albuquerque, New Mexico-> Phoenix, Arizona
Thursday--errands in Phoenix
Friday--Phoenix, Arizona-> Provo, Utah
Saturday--time in Provo
Sunday--Provo, Utah-> Phoenix, Arizona

It was an exhausting trip, but there were definitely fun highlights along the way, like seeing the St. Louis arch, hanging out with Koa and hanging out outside the Donald Trump rally, traveling with Natalie up to Provo, spending time with Chelsea and other friends in Provo, and boating with Natalie and her family for the Memorial Day holiday.

In total during this one week, I was in 9 states! Now that's what I call a road trip :)
