Salt Lake City with my Cute Mommy

My cute mom came into Provo for Graduation and that means that I got to spend a lot of quality time with her. And we wanted to make our quality time special. If you follow me on Instagram you can guess that I am now home in Ohio. Well, my mom and I knew that I would be coming home and we wanted to do some type of fun mother-daughter day together. We poured through travel catalogs, Googled to our hearts content, and literally couldn't find anything that we thought was special or fun. So...we decided that while mom was in Utah, we'd head up to SLC and spend the day there. I've been to Salt Lake plenty of times--whether it's going to the temple, City Creek Mall, General Conference, the Lights at Temple Square, the First Presidency Christmas Devotional, hiking, or that time my parents and I stayed at the Little America hotel before my mission. Still, Salt Lake is a special place to be and my mom and I had a GREAT day together.

We rode the Frontrunner up which my mom thought was the coolest thing ever. We went to the Church History Museum to see the new video the Church has made about the First Vision--it was fantastic! Then, we ate at Crown Burger. Seriously, SO good! If you live in Utah and you A) have not been to Crown Burger and B) have not had their fry sauce, that needs to change. We then walked around Temple Square and then around City Creek Mall before taking the Frontrunner home. It was a simple, but wonderful day!
