Well, it's official folks. Somehow, this incredible and amazing institution of higher learning allowed me to leave its hallowed halls and somehow, I did it in four years. I'll be honest, graduation istself is a little anticlimactic--you get dressed in this hot stuffy robe and wear a cap that keeps falling off your head and wait two hours until someone big and important whom you never met before says your full name and you walk across a stage in front of hundreds of people (praying the entire time you don't trip or in my case, that the cap doesn't fall off of your head), shake people's hands, and then get handed a fake diploma holder. Such an odd custom :D
The important part is the celebration of an accomplishment. I've always known that I would graduate college, but I feel so infinitely blessed that I was able to graduate from BYU. I absolutely LOVED my time at BYU and the incredible people that I met, experiences, and opportunities that I was given. So, I celebrated how much I loved BYU, not so much the getting a diploma thing. And my cap didn't fall off of my head...until I made it back to my seat.
