Of course, we had to take classic cowboy pictures :D Christina attended Marcus High School, which is famous amongst the BYU Drumline as a place that churns out some pretty great drummers. So, we visited the school, after which we visited the LDS Dallas temple and the JFK museum. Random fact: I have seen the limousine in which JFK was shot, have been on his Air Force One. And that wasn't intentional.
That evening, we visited the Ice Sculptures exhibit at the Gaylord Texan. This would be my first experience with a Gaylord hotel, followed two years later by visiting the Christmas decorations at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville.
I am SO grateful to Christina and her family for letting me visit--it was a BLAST! I hope to see more of Texas in my lifetime!
