How has February in Provo, UT been you might ask? Well, it's been pretty fantastic. I survived midterms and mountains of homework only to be greeted in March by...one more midterm, piles and piles of homework, and big semester projects looming over my head.
Back to the positive! This February, nothing too crazy happened. You can read about our Valentine's Day adventures here, as well as our trip to the Midway Ice Castles here. Oh, and you can check out our roommate pictures here.
Karina and I were able to visit our dear friend Carmody 3 years after her passing. How blessed we were to actually find the headstone in the snow!
Jesse and I also had a stellar time volunteering at the Provo City Center temple Open House, where we stood in a parking lot for 4. 5 hours and directed people to the lines and the bathrooms. It was wonderful to be able to serve!
Y-Serve's Family Literacy also had a great activity the Selnate International School students, where we went bowling and got some ice cream afterwards. Did I break 100? ...
The last home basketball game was INTENSE--BYU vs. Gonzaga. Brent, Alayna, and I went to cheer the Cougars on, and we did more then cheer--we rejoiced, sweated bullets in anticipation, and applauded the team's efforts after we lost by only 2 points.
I also realized for the one of the last times, I was able to attend the Provo temple. With the new City Center temple and moving away so soon, there aren't many times left at this wedding cake :D
Happy March everyone! It's going to be great!
