6:00 a.m. Roll over in bed to find a text message sent at 5:15 a.m. from Trent-- I had told him that was when I was born and he woke up to text me then!
7:00 a.m. Birthday greetings from mom
11:00 a.m. Greetings from the Freshman Mentoring office and a sweet note from Lynsie
3:30 My wonderful roommate last semester, Tammy, came down from Brigham City to go to the temple with me. The temple was AMAZING and we were able to have a wonderful chat.
7:00 p.m. Found the whole apartment clean, a beautiful boquet of flowers on the table, and a small cake waiting for me.
7:30 p.m. Olive Garden (my favorite restaurant) with the most amazing people in the world-- Nichelle, Vanessa, Keith, Andrew, Bryce, Tyler, Cameron, Christina, and Derek.
8:30 p.m. The waiter made me a cake out of vegetables b/c I couldn't eat cake- SO awesome.
9:00 p.m. Come home to find a Happy birthday sign on my door. Open the door to a dark apartment and SURPRISE! So many wonderful people were in my apartment, streamers covered the ceiling, and there was a beautiful cake on the table. Nichelle, Karly, Christina, and Jesse threw me a surprise party. Totally overcome by sheer delight and joy.
11:00 p.m. Sharae posted a video of her sweet Chinese students singing on Facebook. SO adorable and so thoughtful!
12:00 Random trip to the park for swinging and tennis with Nichelle, Chanel, Stephanie, Steven, and Derek.
The whole day: receiving texts from new friends, and old, and an adorable Voicemail from the lovely Amanda.
