I cannot describe how amazing BYU is. The people here are the nicest people on earth, and it's amazing to be around so many people that have the same values and goals in life. Between Drumline, FHE, my ward, my fabulous roomates, and classes, I have a fabulous group of people around me to hang out with and who are just so willing to help with anything.
Class Schedule lol
-Hnrs. Writing 150
-Hnrs. Comparative Literature
-Hnrs. Book of Mormon
-Geography (Globalization and Diversity)
-Communications 101 and of course
-Marching Band!!
Classes are absolutely fabulous as well. I have already learned SO mcuh- about the geography of the world, how to write a proper thesis statement, and so many interesting facts about the Book of Mormon. My Book of Mormon professor, Professor Merrill challenged his classes to read the first half of the Book of Mormon (1 Nephi-Alma 29) in two weeks. That translates to about 20 pages of a day. I can truly testify not that if you begin a serious study of the Book of Mormon, the spirit will fill your life. Within one week at BYU, I have already gained a firm testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.
I could not be happier here. There is a lot of hard work to be done, but all of it is for the glory of the Lord. He challenged us to become a learned people, and everyone at BYU is doing just that.
Have had some great times with friends, and will hopefully have more pictures!! I haven't taken that many, which is quite shocking :D
This truly is the Lord's University (:
