"Go to the Ohio"

For Spring Break, Nick and I went back home (for me) to Ohio! It was a wonderfully relaxing trip--we didn't have too much on our agenda, and just enjoyed spending time with my family. Here's a quick rundown of our day-to-day:

Saturday:

  • We took a long red-eye and arrived around 6:00 a.m. at DTW Airport. Fortunately, I slept for most of the trip. Unfortunately, Nick did not.
  • Breakfast at Bob Evans. For those of you that have never eaten at a Bob Evan's, you are missing out on a true NW Ohio classic.
  • Shopping at Meijer.
  • Visiting the Booster (my parents dog)
  • Napping.
  • Dinner at Charlie's Restaurant.
Sunday:
  • Showing up to church 2 hours early.
  • Taking pictures with the Booster.
  • Finally going to church on time.
  • Writing, addressing, stamping, and licking what felt like 1,000 wedding thank-you cards.
  • Playing Uno.

Monday:
  • Sleeping in!!!!!!!
  • Visiting my Grandpa Dean and Judy in Michigan
  • Lunch with Anna and Brittany at I-Hop
  • Ice Cream with Jeff at Mr. Freeze
  • Working on Nick's Defensive Driving School course

  • Target
  • Meijer
  • The Mall
  • Cookies at American Cookie Company
  • Seeing Black Panther (So Good! I typically am not a huge fan of superhero movies, and was SO skeptical going in, but this movie was awesome!) Wakanda!!!
Wednesday:
  • Slept in!!!!
  • Once Upon a Time
  • Rudy's Hot Dogs for lunch
  • Dave and Buster's with my Mammacita
  • Impulse shopping at Old Navy

Thursday:
  • Slept in!
  • Finished Nick's Defensive Driving School
  • Homework
  • Once Upon a Time
  • Phase 10
  • Bannagram's
  • Eddy's Less Prime Rib
  • Late night dessert run to Meijer
Friday:
