Destination: Miami Beach, Florida

This popular attraction is a second home for my sweet husband. While there are MUCH less crowded beaches for sure, it is definitely fun to go Miami Beach where are there are so many shops and stores across the street from the water. The first time I went with Nick and his brother John, we were not prepared wearing the right clothing :D

On another trip back to Florida, we decided to go in our swimsuits so that we could actually get in the water :D

One thing that I struggle with oceans is the salt water. If you grew up as a lake girl like me, you might not be prepared for the onslaught of salt water :D We highly recommend looking for parking farther away from the shore and walking--you'll be stuck in traffic for 10-15 minutes along the shore and unless you get there first thing in the morning, will NOT find a parking spot!
