Nerdy Teacher Stuff

Recently, I have been attending a lot of Professional Development sessions for Social Studies teachers here in Arizona (and there's one more to come). Last Saturday, Nick accompanied me to the Arizona Geographic Alliance's Day at the Capitol Museum. We received a special tour of the capitol museum, received training on incorporating more geography into our lessons, and did a fun geocaching activity. Since absolutely NONE of these strategies and ideas applied to Nick as an Advanced Anatomy teacher, this Saturday, we went to the Arizona Science Center.
