WOW! Where did the time go? Well, since August, my life has done a complete and total 360. I moved out of my apartment in Heritage, said goodbye to my residents, said goodbye to the most fantastic co-workers ever, and flew back to Ohio for 5 days with my parents.
On my vacation back at home, I spent less than 24 hours in my actual house, as we traveled to Dearborne, MI to see the Titanic exhibit in the Henry Ford museum and went to Kirtland! It was SO wonderful to see my parents, and being back in the Midwest :) Flying back to Provo was quite the adventure. I landed in Denver safely, only to find out that my flight had been delayed...for 5 hours. I finally made it into Provo at 12:30 a.m., and made it to Drumline Camp at 8 a.m. that day. I got to spend three days staying with my best friend in her gorgeous new apartment, and then with the help of my wonderful friends, moved myself into my new home in The Lodges at Glenwood. Since I've moved in, life has been SO good. and SO absolutely crazy.
Let me just say this: I am blessed. So blessed. I have amazing friends, amazing roommates, amazing classes, an amazing major, amazing opportunities to volunteer, and the amazing opportunity to play on the BYU Drumline. I love being a part of something so wonderful as BYU. So many miracles happen here every day, it's great to share in some of them, however small :)
My goal for this week: figure out my life. Quite literally, I have some major life decisions to make this week that will affect me forever. I pray that I will be guided by the Spirit to do the right thing, that will allow me to help the most people. If we follow the Spirit, we can't fail. "Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year" -Ralph Waldo Emerson I'll be back to discuss my life's decisions soon...once I make them :D
