We had a very difficult time picking a spot for our first look, considering the weather in Florida in July is not conducive to spending large periods of time outside. After considering several locations, someone (and whoever you are, thank you!!!) recommended The Love Bridge. Located at Palms Town and Country, this location was just two minutes from the hotel where myself and my bridesmaids/family were staying. Not only the convenient location, but the idea of putting a lock on the bridge symbolizing our love sealed the deal.
Poor Nick waited for quite a few minutes for me to get myself down to the bridge (it took two of my dear friends, Jesse and Sharae, to hold my dress b/c at this point in the day, I was really working hard not to get it dirty).
As I went through our over 200 photos and tried to pick my favorites, I was reminded of the raw feelings in this moment. For me, there were so many thoughts and emotions leading up to this moment. I was so nervous about everything working out on our wedding day. Seeing Nick put everything into perspective. We were getting married. That's what this day was about. And that is why our first look was so special--b/c it was a moment that just the two of us could share (well, and the photographer) :D
