I do promise that I am alive. Despite my lack of connection with the blogosphere lately, my life and I are on good terms. Not going to lie--teaching has been incredibly difficult. Some days, I just feel like flarmes (a nonsense word that Nick made up that someday, he plans to teach his students about). But really, I have been counting my blessings one by one for the many MOMENTS that I have been able to make: with students, with other teachers, with friends, and with my fun, freakishly good looking, and fantastic boyfriend.
