Destination: Sedona, Arizona Round 2

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I went up to Sedona a few weeks ago and hiked Cathedral Rock (see blog post here) which was SO incredibly beautiful. I left Sedona knowing that I would have to go again because there was still SO much to see and do. Keeping to my word, I returned again this past weekend with a group of fantastic friends.

First, we stopped at the Tuzigoot National Monument, about a half hour West of Sedona. Owned by the National Park Service, this monument is part original/part reproduction of the stone structure that housed the indigenous Native American population from about 1100 to 1300 AD until the structure was abandoned. It was great to see once, but I probably wouldn't make it a hot destination spot again haha

After visiting Tuzigoot, we made the 15 minute drive to Jerome. Everyone had been telling us that we had to go there. The town is ADORABLE and if I hadn't been with a large group, I would have loved to get out and check it out. I will someday :) We stopped at the mine where you can stand on a glass plate and look down 1900 feet--talk about a far drop!

Then, we headed into Sedona where we completed the famous Devil's Bridge hike. While the hike up the arch isn't the most exciting, it is worth every minute for the view at the end! Have you used Alltrails? If you haven't, download the app! It is seriously SO helpful for trail information!
