Faith is Not by Chance, but by Choice

Hello blogging world. It slipped by me, but it seems that it has been months since I have last posted. That is because this semester has flown by.

Today, I just wanted to share a few quick thoughts about faith.

"Faith emits a spiritual light, and that light is discernible. Faith in Jesus Christ is a gift from heaven that comes as we choose to believe and as we seek it and hold on to it. Your faith is either growing stronger or becoming weaker" -from LDS General Conference, Elder Neil L. Anderson "Faith is Not by Chance, but by Choice"

Because this semester has been a whirlwind, sometimes I've felt like everything in my life are like balls sliding down a steep hill. I'll grab one ball, only to have another ball start rolling down. Through this, I've come to learn that centering my life on Jesus Christ is the only to keep myself firmly centered on the hill and keep all of the balls being juggled in the air, not rolling down the hill.

This abundant autumn, I have ultimately learned the importance of centering my life on Jesus Christ. My life is abundant and full of joy, but by centering my life on what truly matters most, I have felt the sweet peace and assurance that is eternal and that cannot be replace even when things do go wrong.

"Although your beginning fire of faith may be small, righteous choices bring greater confidence in God, and your faith grows"
