A Grain of Gratitude Day 4- Easter Sunday

April 8, 2012

Well, we had a fabulous sacrament meeting today! Not only did Joseph play a piano solo, he also accompanied a number as well as directing the choir. All went well, and sounded amazing! At the end Lauren Archibald's talk (one of my FHE sisters), she bore here testimony through song, beginning to sing I Know That My Redeemer Lives a Capella. And then the rest of the ward joined in. The Spirit was SO strong as we sang, and Sharae and I were crying by the end. It was definitely a tear- jerker sacrament meeting! His Hands (the song that Joseph accompanied) So wonderful! :)

After church, Joseph and I had the chance to escape from cooking and cleaning for a few hours to go on a walk. SO lucky to have such a beautiful park so close to Wyview!

Then, it was back to cooking for our Easter dinner!

We helped Sharae make homemade rolls (which were the best rolls I've ever had and absolutely delicious)

And then, I cooked with meat :O I made the ham lol

Easter dinner was absolutely wonderful- good friends, good food, good times :)

Oh, and thanks go to my Dad, who had a birthday cake delivered to my apartment to celebrate my birthday early before Finals week! :)

On this Easter Sunday, let us ponder two questions:

1. What do I think of Chirst? and
2. What does Christ think of me?

May we come to find a friend and constant companion through Jesus Christ. May we come to better feel His love filling our lives. May we come to better understand how He never leaves our side and has his arms outstretched to us, if we only reach out to take them.
