Distinguished Young Women. Changing Lives.

Okay, super sorry, but this post is going to be extremely cheesy!

Last year, I participated in Ohio's Junior Miss, now known as Distinguished Young Women of Ohio. And, yes, this is cheesy, but my participation in the program literally changed my life.

Junior Miss taught me so much about who I am. To believe in myself. To believe that I have the power to accomplish great things. To change the world. To fulfill my dreams. Sometimes I forget, but when I remember that I am a Distinguished Young Women, life just makes so much more sense. Distinguished Young Women are good examples, they help others, and they change lives. I am so grateful to be counted amongst so many of these incredible young women, and hope that I can always remember that Junior Misses make good in the world!

Good times :)
