You've Got Every Right to a Beautiful Life

SO good to be back at the Y! These past two weeks have been a whirlwind of starting classes, starting a new job, meeting new friends and reconnecting with old, and getting back in the swing of having homework every night.

This semester, I'm taking 17 credit hours. No, I'm not crazy.

-Honors Comparative Literature 202
-Communications 211- Media Writing
-Communications 239- Principles of Journalism
-Intro to the English Language
-Book of Mormon 2
-University Band
-Editing Student Journals

I joined a student journal, Stance-for the Family, to get more experience for my editing minor. I also have the privilege of serving in a second calling, as a Visiting Teaching supervisor in addition to producing thew ward newsletter. More updates on volunteerism opportunities to come!

The start of this semester, particularly this long weekend, has brought many fun times with friends. Shoulder dancing in the car, watching Tangled and giggling like crazy, having food adventures at Thai Mango and Sub Zero, watching movies such as Fiddler on the Roof, My Turn on Earth, and Galaxy Quest, attending the MLK Day Commemoration candlelight walk, having lunch with various people, and having a fabulous girls night have already made this semester fabulous.

I have found that when I make the Savior the center of every moment, day, and week, I can enjoy no matter what comes my way :)
