How Great is Our God

Well, I've had a fabulous past two weeks. I can't even begin to describe how much the Lord has helped me in my personal, spiritual, and academic life.

First off, I absolutely love going to church here and being able to go to the temple every week. I FINALLY got a calling- Ward Newsletter co-editor, which means that I'm going to be able to report, photograph, and design like I love. I'm really looking forward to working with our small staff and working toward our ultimate goal of unifying our ward through the newsletter.

Second, I love my family. There are 55 days until I see my parents again, and although I'm not homesick, I am so grateful for their continued support and love. They are always willing to lend an ear, hand, or money to help me accomplish all of my goals.

Third, I love my friends. I am so grateful for everyone that I've been able to meet in my ward, my building, and especially, the Drumline. Thank you guys for always being there to support me, and help me have a fun time here at BYU.

Fourth, I love fall. What a beautiful time of year it is, with the crunchy leaves, crisp mornings, and pumpkins. I loved decorating our apartment for Halloween, making pumpkin cookies, carving pumpkins, and soon, wearing costumes, carving another pumpkin, and doing lots more Halloween baking. I hope to make some cool Halloween cookies/cakes tomorrow, as well as apple crisp, pumpkin pie, and backed pumpkin still to come!

I had such an awesome weekend this past week and hope to make it another great one! Things went well at school this week, but I know I still have a lot of studying to do! Here's my new life motto:

"Give everything 100% your best and not only will you not have anything to regret, God will pick up the rest"
