In just 2 short weeks, 14 days to be precise, I leave for college. It seems like only yesterday I was starting Kindergarten. Now, I'm off to my dream school....Brigham Young University. These next two weeks are going to be filled with packing, memorizing marching band music, and hanging out with the people I love. I did just that today, and was able to watch Matthew West perform live in concert! It was AMAZING, and made me do a lot of thinking.
There's really no point in me being afraid to go to college, or anyone to be afraid of anything in their life. Fear casts out faith, and worrying only brings us down. Heavenly Father has everything in his hands, and has plans to "prosper you and not to harm you, plans to bring you a hope and a future." I can stand confident before the Lord and in everything I do if I am righteous, pray always, am prepared, and do my very best to heed the Lord's commands.
"I know I'm not strong enough to be, everything that I'm supposed to be. I give up, I'm not strong enough. Hands of mercy, won't you come to be. Help me be all that I'm supposed to be. I give up, I'm not strong enough"
